Off the back of his fifth studio album 'The Afterlove', British superstar James Blunt will return to our shores for a series of concerts in March next year. The tunesmith will be performing two headline shows at The Star Event Centre in Sydney and a show at the Palais Theatre in Melbourne. Surrounding these dates are his A Day On The Green performances which will see him light up wineries starting in Hunter Valley's Bimbadgen Estate, then in Mt. Cotton's Sirromet Winery and Wahgunyah's All Saints Estate. Perth's Kings Park & Botanic Garden will be his last stop.
James' departure from the military in 2002 to pursue a music career was indeed all worth it. He shot to fame with the release of his debut album 'Back to Bedlam' in 2004. The album spawned his breakthrough hit and US Billboard number one 'You're Beautiful' and made him a chart-toppper, an award magnet and a global phenomenon all at once.
James is currently winding up a North-American tour with good friend Ed Sheeran. He will then spend the last part of the year hopping across venues in Europe before flying down under in the first quarter of 2018.
Joining him on the upcoming Sydney and Melbourne shows will be Australian country singer Morgan Evans. Morgan was CMA 2016's Global Artist of the Year. Meanwhile, one of Australia’s most loved musicians Pete Murray, Rockhampton duo Busby Marou, singer-songwriter Alex Lloyd will all be in tow for the A Day On The Green shows. The Voice Australia's first season grand champion Karise Eden will join them except for the Perth show.
